Frequently asked questions
How do I import configurations into Nafanya VPS?
By default, the app does not include a preconfigured server — so to get started you need to import a configuration in one of two formats.
vless:// is the format for importing a single
configuration: once you paste such a link, one server is added. The link
is usually provided by the owner or supplier of the server. If needed, it
can be assembled manually from your server parameters: host and port, user
identifier (UUID), the connection security type (for example, Reality or
TLS) and transport parameters. Copy the full link (it starts with
vless://) and paste it into the import field.
https:// is a link that returns not a single
configuration (as with vless://) but a whole list of
configurations. Such a link can be provided by any resource. For example,
you can register on the kuzya.online service and obtain a link there. Then
paste the link you received into the input field — the list of
configurations is imported automatically.
Why does the macOS app ask for an administrator password?
Without administrator rights, the system cannot create a network tunnel and route traffic through it. This is a macOS limitation, not a Nafanya VPS limitation.
The password is used only on your computer and is not sent to any server. Without it, the connection will not work.
How do I choose which apps use the secured connection?
The app supports split tunneling: you can specify which apps use the secured connection and which connect directly.
How do I share the secured connection with other devices?
On Android you can share your secured connection with other devices on the same local network without installing the app. Enable sharing in the app and set the HTTPS proxy host and port shown on the sharing screen on the other device.
